New industry body meets in Inverness

THE recently formed Industry Leadership Group (ILG) met for the first time today in Inverness, with Fergus Ewing, the Scottish minister for the rural economy, present.

The ILG was set up following the sector’s Vision 2030 growth strategy which aims to double Scottish aquaculture production.

The group is co-chaired by Jim Gallagher, managing director of Scottish Sea Farms, and Stewart Graham (pictured), managing director of Gael Force Group.
