Record earnings for Icelandic trawler

AN Icelandic trawler has just notched up record earnings of more than £1 million in one of its most successful tips to date with the bumper catch, some of which will ceratinly end up in Britain. The freezer vessel Hofrungar III AK, owned by the firm HB Grandi, recently docked in Reykjavik after more than four weeks at sea with a 700 tonne catch worth an estimated 223 million Icelandic kronas ( £1.02 million).
