Searching has resumed for a missing person along the Romsdal coast today, following a collsion between a small fishng boat and a tanker yesterday evening.
The search, by the coastal rescue service, several other boats and a helicopter was halted in the night due to poor visibility, said The Norway Post.
The 32 foot fishingboat from Bodoe was nearly cut in half by the tanker "Doris", but has now been brought to shore.
According to the air-sea rescue centre, they have determined that there was only one person aboard the fishing boat.
The cause of the accident has not yet been determined, but there is often heavy traffic in the shipping lane off the Romsdal coast.
