DELIGHT WITHDRAWS PERIYAR FISH PICKLE AND PRAWN PICKLE

Delight Foods is withdrawing Periyar Fish Pickle and Periyar Prawn Pickle due to incorrect labelling.

The products contain sesame oil, which has been listed as gingelly oil.

This isn’t a common name for sesame so customers may not be aware of the allergen contained in the product. The FSA is warning anyone who is allergic to sesame, not to eat these products. The UK Food Standards Agency has issued an Allergy Alert.
