Craemer UK will be exhibiting its range of plastic fishboxes and pallets at the ‘Fishing, Aquaculture and Seafood Expo – from Sea to Plate’ in Glasgow this year.
Based in Telford, Craemer has over 30 years’ experience in manufacturing and supplying durable, long life plastics fishboxes throughout Europe and proudly recognises its established ties within the Scottish commercial fishing and aquacultural industries, working closely to provide a continuous supply of boxes through the logistics chain and to the fish processors.
As well as the 40kilo and 20kilo industry standard products, Craemer will be displaying its new 70litre straight stack, market boxes that have been designed specifically for Scottish fishing industry. Also, the 25kilo “Eurofishbox” will be exhibited, which is the preferred choice for many in the aquacultural industry and by processors for transporting fish.
The 25kilo box features an optional, durable lid that supports load stacking with heavy full boxes and provides all the expected Craemer features, including clear arrow marks for easier nesting and stacking, as well the unique Craemer designed, outside drainage system.
These fishboxes have been developed to provide an economic transport container within logistics systems and their special external size of 800 x 400 x 225mm enables them to be used in tandem with Craemer HF1 plastic pallets if needed.
Craemer also manufacture fish baskets, large containers as well as bins and tubs for the fishing industry.
Craemer’s plastic pallets have been used for many years in the food industry and have been specially modified to transport fishboxes, with special raised profiles around the perimeter of the pallet deck acting as box retainers to prevent the Craemer crates slipping during handling, storage and transportation. The economic and durable plastic pallets can simply be stacked together to save on storage space.
Should people be 'stimulated' to eat white fish alternatives to cod?
