The North Atlantic Seafood Forum is the world's largest seafood business conference and a leading meeting place for top industry executives.
The 7th NASF is to be staged in Oslo March 6-8, 2012. Explore cutting edge innovation, research, sustainability, policy, business, trade and capital markets issues, while 100 international top-level speakers and experts will address nine NASF seminars.

The opening session of NASF 2012 will be dedicated to the EU Common Fisheries Policy Reform (CFP). EU Fishery Commission, DG Mare and Danish Ministry of Fisheries will give the opening speech. This will draw top EU officials, Fisheries Ministries, policy makers and industry stakeholders from all corners of the North Atlantic.
On March 7th NASF is organising a half-day industry workshop, presenting insights into the new EU fisheries policies. The main theme is “Alignment of market forces for sustainability ”. This session is being organised by AIPCE, PwC, and key stakeholders in Norway and EU, including Ministry of Fisheries in Denmark and EU Fisheries Commission.
A new sustainability seminar has been organised jointly with Marine Stewardship Council (MSC); Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC), Det Norske Veritas (DNV) and some commercial players from March 8th. This is a full day seminar focusing on the main sustainability themes for the Fisheries and Aquaculture value chain. This initiative will attract interest from producers, exporters, importers, distributors, retailers, NGOs and other stakeholders.
