WildWaters is shortlisted in two categories at the Quality Food Awards 2011

Shetland Products, the marketing arm of Grieg Seafood Hjaltland UK Ltd, is delighted that two of its products from the innovative and gourmet WildWaters range have been shortlisted at the prestigious, national and highly contested Quality Food Awards this year. 

The two products are WildWaters Smoked Salmon 'Pastrami' (winner of the award in 2009) and WildWaters Gravadlax 'Limoncello'.

The Quality Food Awards are for suppliers of food to the retail sector.

The awards ceremony announcing the final winners is due to take place at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge, London on 10 November 2011.

Stella Winks of Shetland Products said: "To have two of our products shortlisted is extremely exciting. The awards are highly regarded in the industry and the volume of entries is very high."

Michael Stark, managing director of Grieg Seafood Hjaltland UK Ltd added: "Winning the award in 2009, the year our smokehouse opened, was a major achievement for us and Shetland. We will continue to further establish our products in the marketplace and promote the amazing food and tourism opportunities on our beautiful islands."
