We are currently recruiting for the following located at our Marine Site on the Isle of Gigha:
Marine Operative
(Ref MO/IG/09/11)
(Salary £15,965 to £19,570 per annum dependant on experience)
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, have good communication skills and be able to demonstrate prior experience of working within a small, focused team in a constantly changing and challenging environment. Previous aquaculture and boat handling experience is desirable but not essential as the company will also offer further development opportunities through its in-house training and also through external providers.
Working hours are normally 40hrs per week Monday to Friday, with weekend working required on a rota basis. Overtime is paid at enhanced rates.
A full, clean driving licence is also essential for these positions.
