With just over four weeks to go until the opening of the Scottish Skipper Expo on 24th and 25th June, a new exhibition for the UK fishing industry, accommodation in hotels close to the show venue, AECC (Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre) in Aberdeen is pretty much booked out. Special rates still apply for the Holiday Inn Express (next to AECC) and Douglas Hotel in Aberdeen.

Approximately 100 companies will be exhibiting their services and products and for the first time ever in Scotland, there will be an outside boat-mart, displaying new vessels from a range of boat builders including G. Smyth Boats Kilkeel, Cygnus Workboats, Murphy Marine Services, Anderson Marine and Warrior Boats.  Held on Friday & Saturday, the show allows exhibitors and fishermen minimal time away from their workplace.

Speaking on behalf of the organisers, Sharon Boyle, Sales Manager at Mara Media said: “We are delighted to draw on our years of experience in the fishing industry to put an event together that has the backing of the UK industry.
