Cornish fish and seafood processor, Falfish, are the latest business to invest in Integreater®. To maintain advanced management control throughout their production process, the award-winning firm are due to install the e-MES in time for the new financial year.
Launched last year, Integreater® is an enterprise manufacturing execution system, also known as an e-MES. The unique software and hardware solution works by ensuring that businesses have the visibility to achieve greater accuracy, efficiency and traceability. It effectively holds a magnifying glass up to the processing cycle, so that management can see exactly what’s going on and identify where they need to make improvements.
Falfish supply a wide variety of fish and shellfish to the retail, wholesale and food-service sectors. Sustainability and responsible sourcing from well-managed fisheries are of great importance to the pioneering company.
The dynamic business needs a long term solution that can adapt with their growth, as well as legal developments and changing market conditions. Managing Director, Mark Greet, is confident that the latest offering from Systems Integration will provide his team with the knowledge and visibility to achieve their aims:
“Falfish have consistently invested in advanced data capture systems over the years. However, we are particularly excited about installing Integreater® as it will enable us to optimise performance, without jeopardising our business culture or unique selling points”.
“Falfish supply over 40 different species of fish and shellfish to customers across Europe. In order to keep produce fresh and maximise shelf life, it has to be processed within a very short time frame. We believe that Integreater® will enable us to meet this challenge, ensuring that we fulfil customer requirements to the highest possible standard”.
“The enterprise manufacturing execution system will help us to demonstrate complete traceability from sea to plate. And in such a highly competitive sector, we are confident that Integreater® will prove to be a vital business tool”.
