Troutlodge, Inc. of Sumner, WA is proud to announce that Mr. Brent Hinners has been promoted to Vice President of Operations, Eastern Washington and that Mr. Andrew Barfoot has been promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
In addition, the company is pleased to announce the Mr. Bill Witt has been appointed to the newly-created position of Live Fish Sales Manager for Eastern Washington.
Mr. Hinners has previously served as the Facility Manager at Troutlodge’s Winchester Farm, while also overseeing the company’s genetics program operations in Eastern Washington. He has been with the company since 1998, and now takes on the role previously held by Mr. Bill Witt. In announcing this promotion, Troutlodge President Jim Barfoot stated, “Brent has had a stellar career with Troutlodge and over the last 12 plus years has served in numerous capacities in the operation. It is always nice to be able to develop individuals within the organization to where they can take on additional responsibilities as their career progresses. Brent has demonstrated in each of his assignments the ability to perform at a high level in a variety of settings.”
Mr. Witt, who recently celebrated 30 years of employment at Troutlodge, will take over the role of Live Fish Sales Manager for Eastern Washington. This new position was created as the company looks to expand its sales of live fish for commercial and recreational purposes to both public and private entities throughout the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Witt will also continue to oversee operations at the company’s “Troutlodge II” facility at the Ed & Lois McLeary Trout Hatchery Complex near Soap Lake.
In addition, Mr. Andrew Barfoot was recently appointed by the Troutlodge Board of Directors to the role of Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Mr. Barfoot has served as Director of Sales & Marketing since joining the company in 2006. In that time, the company’s sales have grown to over 400 million eggs each year to customers in 58 countries around the globe. Mr. Barfoot is involved in all aspects of the company’s global sales and marketing efforts, including those for its operations in Chile and the Isle of Man, as well as the company’s marine division. In announcing this change, the Board cited that this promotion “gives additional credibility to the emphasis Troutlodge places on customer service and technical help.”
