New marketing chief for Young's and Findus

Findus Group, which includes Young's Seafood and The Seafood Company, has appointed a new marketing director for its  has announced the appointment of Tasha Gladman as Marketing Director for its UK Frozen business.

She is Tasha Gladman who, with a strong food background, joins the  executive team and will report  to UK Frozen Managing Director, Mark Escolme. However this is her first venture into seafood and frozen food.

Tasha, who starts early next month, will work closely with  the group marketing, category and innovation teams as well as other Findus operating markets to ensure that key consumer and category insights are developed, leveraged and shared to the benefit of the Group.

Mr Escolme said: "As we look to build an aspirational vision for our UK Frozen business to engage and inspire colleagues, customers and consumers, I am delighted to welcome Tasha into this new role and will be looking to her to provide inspirational leadership and support change thinking within the business."

Tasha added: : "Building on the strategic foundation of "Fresh Food, Frozen", I am looking forward to developing a brand strategy that will help revitalise Findus and further develop Young's, building complimentary and aligned propositions as modern and innovative brands."

Tasha joins with a wealth of experience having begun her career in retail with John Lewis before moving into the international food sector working across a number of markets with both Unilever and Mars where she has driven strategy and campaigns for a number of high profile household food brands including Oxo, Colman's and Ambrosia,  as well as leading confectionery brands such as Galaxy, Twix, Milky Way and Snickers.  

She is currently North America Brand Development Director for Ragu, Bertolli Pasta Sauce and Knorr for Unilever in New York, where, for the past three and a half years, she has been responsible for a portfolio turnover of $.2-billion.
