Quality Systems Assistant Manager

An opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a Quality Systems Assistant Manager to join Marine Harvest’s Quality systems team, based in Fort William. 

The main responsibility of the post will be to complete farm and factory audits in support of the Company Quality and Environmental standards, and to suggest and agree improvements and corrective actions where appropriate.

Principle responsibilities will include generating essential reports to meet customer requirements and collection and checking of samples for analysis by both internal and external laboratories.  In addition the successful candidate will be required to carry out audits to support the Quality and Environmental Management Systems including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and British Retail Consortium standards.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills and possess a high degree of computer literacy. Whilst it is not a requirement of the post it would be advantageous if applicants possessed a further education certificate in a related discipline or experience of fish farming.  A driving licence is also essential.
