Scottish Sea Farms Ltd is one of Scotland’s leading international aquaculture companies and represents 24% of the total production of Atlantic farmed salmon in Scotland.
We are looking to recruit a high calibre, dedicated Production Manager for our operations in Shetland who will join a dynamic management team reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Based in Shetland, you will be widely experienced, self-reliant and have at least 5 years management in a demanding aquaculture environment. You are individually results focused and at the same time capable of developing a winning team culture.
With responsibility for 10 marine sites and support services, you must be able to demonstrate an impressive career to date along with a forward-looking innovative approach across all key marine production parameters. You will be target driven and will value and be pro-active in all aspects of health and safety. A strong motivation to achieve financial, biological and environmental excellence and an appreciation of the value of staff development will be a pre-requisite of the role.
You will have competence in infrastructure management and be sensitive to the needs of local stakeholders. Scottish Sea Farms Ltd are a major local employer and you should be committed to ensuring that the Company plays it full role within the local community.
