Lakeland Smolt Limited was established in 1987 and has become one of the acknowledged pioneers in UK aquaculture.
We are the largest supplier of salmon eggs and smolts in the UK and have freshwater hatcheries in Shetland, Cumbria and Argyll and sea water operations producing around 15,000 tonnes of quality salmon. In recent years we have invested in new technologies and are now seeking a Freshwater Manager in Argyll.
The successful applicant should ideally have a minimum of five years management experience and have a working knowledge of recirculation systems. The ability to effectively manage a small team of dedicated personnel is essential.
In return we can offer an excellent remuneration package which includes generous pension provision along with a target-driven bonus scheme.
