Scottish Sea Farms Ltd are currently seeking to employ Freshwater Technicians at Knock Hatchery on the Isle of Mull and Ardtornish Hatchery, Morvern, Argyll.
Applications are invited from individuals who have an interest in aquaculture and feel that they could play a key part in strengthening an already skilled team responsible for producing Atlantic Salmon Fry, Parr and Smolt. Previous experience in the industry would be an advantage, but is not essential, as training will be supplied. A full clean driving license is essential for this position.
The successful applicant would be required to carry out a variety of tasks including:
Routine stock husbandry
Environmental monitoring
Stock health & welfare monitoring
Site and equipment maintenance
Weekend working and alarm cover on a Rota basis
