The Chairman of the Federation of Irish Fishermen, Gerard O'Flynn, will be among those invited to meet President Sarkozy today (Monday) at the French Embassy to discuss the aftermath of the Lisbon Treaty vote.

Mr. O'Flynn expects to have an opportunity to impress on President Sarkozy the dimensions of the crisis in the Irish fishing industry and the need for resolute early action at EU level to tackle key issues in a variety of critical areas.
