Trainee Farmer
No previous experience required but you must be hardworking, practical and willing to acquire new skills. Salary: £6.40/h after satisfactory 6 month review
Husbandry Staff
You'll have at least 2 years aquaculture experience and be able to bring relevant skills e.g. boat handling, fish health, mooring or appetite assessment. You may be already working with other marine species or within a freshwater environment. Above all you'll be keen to improve your career by taking greater responsibility and being rewarded accordingly. Salary: dependent upon experience and qualifications.
Weekend Husbandry Staff
Working part-time you will become an essential and valued member of staff, where you will be offered training alongside your peers and with every prospect of a future full-time role. Some experience of working within aquaculture is preferable but not essential. Successful candidates will be able to commit to working most weekends.
In addition to industry-competitive salaries Scottish Sea Farms operates a generous bonus-incentive scheme and a leading occupational health programme. New staff can expect to be employed on sites local to Fishnish (Mull), Oban, Loch Creran and Port Appin. All candidates are required to have a clean drivers licence.
