The new salmon dog is being introduced as a healthy rival to the traditional meaty hot dog (pictured) |
A NORWEGIAN investor has invested NOK 40 million on developing a new hot dog made from salmon.
Gustav Fritzoe, together with Mills, will spend another NOK 20 million on introducing the new product to help parents convince their children to choose this healthier hot dog, reports The Norway Post.
According to Aftenposten, the product looks like a hot dog and does not taste of salmon, which, says the manufacturer, it shouldn't if it is to compete with the ordinary hot dog.
