We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated individual to undertake the role of Area Health Manager within the Company’s Health Department providing support to our Seawater Production areas across the West Coast of Scotland.
The main responsibilities of the post will be to provide a diagnostic service to designated farms for the rapid detection of disease, to provide advice to farms on best practice and to supervise the use of medicines and treatment methods in collaboration with pharmaceutical companies. In addition the successful candidate will be expected to supervise the use of medicines to ensure optimum efficiency, to collate data on fish health and to provide support to farm staff through training and advice on fish health and welfare.
Potential candidates should possess at least two years practical experience in a health monitoring position and have a sound knowledge of fish farming. In addition excellent computer skills with experience of Microsoft packages, a full clean driving licence and the willingness to undertake regular travel are also required for this post.
