Fred Normandale, chairman of the NFFO presented the donation to Brian Miles, chairman of the Fishermen’s Mission last week, at the Mission’s biennial conference held in Scarborough.

During the presentation, which was made in the presence of special guest Sir Jimmy Savile, Mr Normandale spoke about the outstanding contribution the Mission had made to the fishing fleets all around the UK and stated that he was very pleased that the National Federation was able to help the National Mission in this way.
