THE Seafood and Health Conference 2008 is set to be held in Bergen, Norway from May 13-15.
The conference will address the role seafood plays in relation to people's health.
In addition, aspects regarding seafood safety will be discussed. Experts from several fields will present the latest scientific results.
The conference is organised by the Norwegian Ministry of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs and the National Institute of Nutrition and Seafood Research (NIFES), and is a follow up from the Seafood and Health Conference which was arranged in Washington, USA, in 2005.
