Top company, top fish, top lifestyle –this one’s quite a catch.
Sea Farm Site Manager, Marlborough Sounds, New Zealand
There may be plenty more fish in the sea – but there aren’t plenty more opportunities like this one. In New Zealand, we produce some of the best, most naturally farmed salmon in the world – we are uniquely disease free. This is your chance to be a part of that. Join us and work in the pure waters of the stunning Marlborough Sounds while living in the superb Marlborough wine growing countryside. You and your family will live close to vibrant towns with great schools, cafes, and shopping, only a short flight from NZ’s capital city, Wellington, and minutes away from a huge range of seriously cool outdoor adventures.
NZ King Salmon is the largest salmon farming company in New Zealand, producing 7000 tonnes of top-quality salmon to high-end customers worldwide from our sea farm in the pristine Marlborough Sounds. That makes us a small fish in a big pond internationally – but in terms of quality, we’re huge.
Our commitment to protecting the purity of the waters in which we raise our salmon is absolute and we tightly monitor and control every stage of production to guarantee total quality from hatchery to plate.
That’s where you come in. As one of our five Sea Farm Site Managers, you’ll tackle the day-to-day running and long-range planning of your site, ensuring our standards are maintained while leading our teams of farm staff and maximising productivity.Your solid experience in fish farm site management and your proven leadership skills will be to the fore in this unique position, backed up by good computer skills for analyzing data and carrying out payroll duties. Process planning, people management, and staff development abilities round out your skill set, and a degree in Biological Sciences would be an extra advantage.
This is a rare chance to work for a world-leading company, earning a competitive salary in one of the world’s most beautiful locations, as part of a supportive, friendly team committed to the highest standards of production. And to help you make your decision, we’ll also help with your relocation costs and logistics.
